Have a 2008 Navigator with top rails and a KVH R6DX dome sat. Having problems pulling in Sat 61.5 no matter where we are. Reads tracking 61.5 but can't pull in HD Channels. Have talked with KVH with no solutions. Right now we are in Benton,AR in the open and still can not get any signal strength. This has been an ongoing problem since we changed to Dish Net for the HD Channels. Direct TV sure messed things up with the KA Band switch ssue. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Jerry

does your dome have 3 LNB's? i don't know much about the dome systems. but RV'ers near me using a dome use a separate dish for the HD satellite.
61.5 is an eastern arc bird. the western arc bird for HD is 129. when i was in TX i couldn't get a signal from 61.5. i got the 1000.2 dish for 110, 119 and 129. I also had to switch the locals to the location where I was at. you cannot get your home locals across the country any more
so now i use a 1000.4 for eastern US and 1000.2 for western US.

Satellite 61.5 is far east, and could be below the horizon or blocked by obstructions. In AR, you'd want to look at 110, 119 and 129, with 129 being the HD satellite.

I know this reply is a little late but I have a map of the areas being covered by Dishnetwork's satellites. Perhaps it will help in the future.
