We're breaking news about Kyocera's forthcoming firmware for the very-popular KR1 EVDO Router.

With the new RK1010 firmware, the KR1 will fully support the extremely popular Novatel USB EVDO Rev-A modems sold by both Sprint and Verizon. (U720 and USB720)


In addition to the USB modems, the least expensive Rev-A cards from both major carriers will also be fully supported (Verizon's PC5750 and Sprint's PX500)

When a device is "fully supported" by the KR1, you can expect full speed throughput and few disconnect issues.
