By now, most RVers probably have experience with LCD TVs at home or in the RV. I am wondering what differences are found on the various brands for some particular features, specifically picture size and channel information guides?

I have a Sanyo and a Vizio LCD plus an RCA digital converter box.
The Sanyo has a dedicated button on the remote to cycle through 4 different picture size/aspect ratios. The Info button brings up the current channel and program information and holds it for 30 seconds.
The Vizio picture ratio can only be changed by going through 5-6 clicks and several menu layers from the remote. The Info displays the channel and program info for only 3 seconds and cannot be held or extended. Not enough to read. I would not buy another Vizio if this is normal.
The converter box has a full listing of all channels and what is currently broadcast on each channel, but no program info detail.

What do you like or dislike about your brand of TV?

We have Samsung mainly because it came with the unit, I can't compare it to any other product. Works well, color and picture are good. I figure the color and sound is only as good as the eyes and ears that are viewing and listening to it.

2008 Samsung LDC 23"

The lateral viewing arc is only about 40 degrees.

A 26" Vizio LED Razor that we watched in the store looked to be as good as its advertised 170 degrees. Vastly superior.

One advantage I'm seeing on Samsung TV's is that their control buttons are on the front surface of the TV. Most other brands are either on the side, back of the unit, or on the top. Results in a problem if you mount it in a MH up over the dash with limited access to the side/back of the unit.

Not a problem if the remote works, but....
