I wrote a juke box program and if you have a XP computer I would be happy to share it with you. Just let me know. It can play thousands of songs and keep playlists. Listing to it now as I type...

On my old laptop I play everything with WinAmp and an album list plugin. Home desktop I use Windows Media Center.
Same music files, just did a little picking and choosing, I put it on the Zune docking station for the MH.
Same files are on the MH laptop to play using Windows Media Center.
Does your system have any audio inputs, RCA jacks? Sounds like you just need to pick a mp3 player.
Read up on the one you select, some are very bad about moving, renaming and reorganizing your music files. Don't give the player the path to your music until you know it won't mess up the way you have the files organized. I have a folder for each artist name and under that the albums for the artist.
That is a lot of music, hope you gave some thought as to how it is organized and tagged before you started.

I now use the Ipod. I love it. My dash radio in my rv has an input for ipod. I had to purchase a special cable to connect to it. Then I am able to use the radio buttons to change it. I normally just set it on random and it plays random selection of my 1200 songs, or I can pick to play by albums etc. My wife has her own, so we take turns listening to each others tunes. Then I can take this into the car and play them there and can put on headphone and play them around the pool or on the beach... Needles to say I love ipod and just purchased the beatles from itunes.

Any old MP3 player will work. Get one from the kids or grandkids as they have moved on by now.

I use the Ipod that holds 160 gigs. That's more than enough music. I also purchased the ION portable music box. You can get one for about $150.00. It supports any Ipod/Itouch/etc and the music is nice to listen to around the campfire. It has a built in battery so it's a little heavy, but will play music for over 12 hours with out being plugged in. It also comes with a mic if you need to speak up at a club function. Seems like everyone hangs out at my campsite at our monthly campouts. I have outdoor speakers on my RV, but they don't come close to the output the ION has.

I use Sirius Radio, and if the satellite reception is not that great because of storm coverage, I use the old 8gb iPod. Something like two or thee weeks of continuous listening music. More than I can stand in a day.
