I have long been hunting for what is wrong with the cable/satellite plug at the rear of my coach and the TV switch at the front of the coach. There is no continuity and I want to use that jack for a dish. Fleetwood's schematic shows that it's a direct cable, but appears to either be cut or have a device like a splitter somewhere that's stopping even a tone passing through. I hate hanging a cable out the window. It's a 2003, 37A Pace Arrow. Anyone have a hint?

I had the same problem with a new Itasca. The factory summarized some one had driven a nail or a screw through the original. I ran a new one under the coach with RG-6 along the frame rail and up into the area behind the dash, up the windshield column and to the switching center. Worked great, couldn't see it at all.

it appears to have been used in t he past. The entire overbridge looks custom, because the TV is mounted on the right, which is great for the seating arrangement. Also has a 37" LG / HD. Fit perfectly. Si I figure there is something like a splitter in the line that wont pass a tone.

I believe the reason for the open in the cable is due to the fact that there is a splitter in that line. It passes RF signals but not DC voltage. If you can find the splitter, replace it with a di-plexer available at Rad. Shack.

I completely agree that there must be a splitter somewhere, but still haven't found it. I also wonder if our coach has a custom over-bridge for TV and other gear. I have looked at pix of a lot of '03 Pace Arrow 37A's and all have TV in the center. Ours if on the right side. In the pix I posted above, you can see the curtain to the right of the TV. I think the cable must be up in that corner. Any better ideas ?
