last week we were coming down Interstate 10 to Palm Springs and Our 7720 gave me several low bridge warnings and there was absolutely no bridges any where within site. This was disconcerting, also last fall in Oregon it routed us over a bridge with a weight restriction of 20000 lbs , we weight in at 33000 plus toad, it was a narrow road with no option of exiting or avoiding. This is not the performance I expect from a high end unit. Otherwise I like the 7720 except for the screen visibility. So Rand if you are reading these posts clean up the problems in an otherwise good gps.

Will we have the same 3 mile warning when NOT running a programmed route?

Can we assume that the warning will be both aural and visual?

Finally, do you have any kind of guesstimate as to when this change will be made?

Thank you so much for your help!
Still waiting for an answer on this!
Thanks!

IMHO I don't see how you could ever trust a GPS that was wrong this much of the time. I sure have no patience for sloppiness on a GPS, even though I am well aware, they can be terribly incorrect a good part of the time.

Izzy, that's just the nature of the beast! Just like a woman, you can't live with them and you can't live without them!
As cranky as the GPS can be, I'd hate to think about getting along without one, especially in an RV.

Unfortunately I can't give a release date or time frame as we are still in the development stages. I'd hate to say, for instance, April and have it pushed back. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah, I understand. At least you've given us hope that this problem is being addressed and a solution is coming. Thanks!
