I hope someone can explain the steps to do this. I have carefully plotted a trip using "Roadtrip" on my Macintosh IMAC; and I enjoy the ease of use of Roadtrip. i have a Garmin Nuvi 765 plugged in , and when I push the button on Roadtrip to transfer the route, the software tells me it happened, but I can't find the data in the Garmin. It is not in the GPX folder where data from Mapquest ends up ?

For anyone interested in this problem,....I downloaded a free Garmin program called BaseCamp, and after transferring maps from the Nuvi to Basecamp on the IMAC, it seems to be working. You can plan a route, drag to change it, and specify multiple waypoints, and best of all it transferred to the Nuvi.

Unfortunately the "Finder" on the MAC does not do a very good job of finding files. There is an app that will search all areas selectively. It is called "Easy Find" and it is a free download. It should be able to assist you in finding that file, but you will have to know the "extension" or name of the file. Once you find it you can place it in the appropriate directory.

Easy Find can be found on the MacUpdate web site.

God luck.
