Magellan Road Mate RV9145-LM

Has anyone used a Magellan Road Mate GPS, in particular the RV9145-LM ? Looking to buy this unit and wanted to know how good or bad it may be.

I looked at a lot of models and this is a good GPS with lots of features and easy to use. I ended up going with a garmin 760 Rv instead. I'm not saying one is better than the other, for me it ended simply a personal choice.

I just made arrangements to return the RV9145-LM that I received last week. I could not update the maps or software using the Magellan Content Manager. Magellan requests that you email your questions the trouble is, they don't respond so after 4 days I called and they were useless. I did try again last night as they suggested. Long story short, it didn't work. It is going back to Camping World. I just ordered the Garmin RV760LMT with backup camera so I can monitor my boat when on the highway. It cost more but then I am getting more such as the BU camera that can be wired so it is on when ever the lights are on. Magellan used to be a great product with great support. I know, I have bought six Magellan units since GPS first came out but sadly they have made a number of bad choices such as outsourcing tech support.

Just got the Garmin RV760LMT after returning the Magellan. Garmin install went flawlessly. Well, I haven't attempted the backup camera yet.
