Manual Satellite Hookup

Recently purchased used 2007 Tioga 31S. Has entertainment center in the front bed area. Consignment lot said previous owner used Direct TV for his television. He removed his receiver and not sure what else he took to make the hookup work. Left the distribution box for front and back TV's and settings for various inputs. Have my Direct TV box but not sure where to attach cables since there doesn't seem to be a cable that says its coming from dish on roof, just says antenna in , but could be from bat wing or ? Seems to receive over the air channels OK .Box has empty hookups for DVR in and out but all others are taken for various ins and outs. Any ides would help, previous owner is not communicating.

What's on the roof for the satellite? Can you get to the coax connection?

Your probably going to have to trace the wires. Depending on what receiver you have that your wanting to install you probably will need a lot more stuff. Look behind your TV in the house, your going to have to duplicate that setup for the RV. do you have old style Bband converter or the latest SWM setup? Bband converters are a small usually off white box with coax in on one end and coax out on the other. SWM setup will have a power inserter between the wall and the back of the receiver. This also needs 120VAC. There will also be a splitter. Do you have a video bridge to go along with your Genie? Do you have wired or wireless mini Genies? See, way more questions. Pictures of your house setup would be helpful.

Direct box

The model of direct tv box is H25. There is a cord that plugs into 120V that has black ball looking thing in line. There is also a black 2"X3" black box with the cable in and out to the receiver ,then cable out of receiver to home stereo unit. The setup in the rig would go to the distribution box for multiple tv's. I find the coax from the dish on the roof going into the roof. Guess I will have find out why that coax doesn't come into the entertainment area
will do more digging around. Thanks
