I am a new user of Ms St. & trips and would like to hear from users about some of their tips, tricks and short cuts you find handy with it.

Or just teach me the best way to use it!

Open the program and use it! That's the best way. If you have an owners manual, read it. It's a great program but it takes using it to find out how it will work best for you.

I had 2004 version and just got the 2010................much better and easier to use, but you have to play wit it to get used to it.

It is pretty GUI friendly. I use it and determine my destination stops for the night. Once I figure my distance, I use the "Microsoft Live" function and it will switch me to "Bing" maps. there I put into the "Bing" url search line the words "RV Park" without the quotes and it will populate the map with RV parks. Try using different words, like campground, or even specific restaurants, like "Mexican restaurant" without the quotes. If you plan your trip with MS&T you can save the trip and open it at a later time.
