Sounds like an intermittent wiring connection in the power adapter wire to me.

power supply
My 2 cents.
Regulated or unregulated.
Switched power supplies are (normally) regulated and a more stable supply.
The regulated voltage stays at the rated voltage with current changes.
Unregulated supply (most xformer) change the voltage output with current demand.
The Mobley current changes with transmitter/receiver demand so the voltage is constantly changing with an unregulated supply.
To test your supply you have to test the output voltage unloaded.
With the PS plugged into the wall a 12V unregulated supply will read over 15VDC a regulated supply will read 12.1 or 12.2 volts.
I suspect any 12VDC unregulated supply will keep the Mobley on.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
Thanks for your comments. Noticed that you are kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello!
I'm still having the problem of the Mobley going off and having to pick it up and move gently and it comes back on.
Have fun and keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I have to agree with Isaac-1 with a loose connection could be from the wall outlet, a Mobley internal connection, the power adapter. Do you know if you have a regulated power adapter?

I've been using the Mobley sim in a NETGEAR 4G LTE Modem since the end of January with no problems. It's been working so good I've turned off the cable and internet in the S&B. As a backup I have a Prepaid unlimited Verizon Hotspot but it's been inactive since February. DW wants to watch the last season of "Game of Thrones", but Dish and HBO are still fighting so I'll use my free "AT&T Watch TV" account with "HBO for Life" to watch it.
