MotoSAT Nomad 2

I just removed a MotoSAT Nomad 2 dish and control box from my motorhome. I have no idea if any of it works. I see on the internet that they went out of business in 2013. I have no use for this equipment. Is it still worth anything?

RF Mogul can update Motosat dishes so it is still worth something.

The antenna itself should still work fine and can be updated using MotorSat parts, the controller might need to be junked as it might not work now due to satellite changes. Some reprogramming might be possible but probably not worth the expense. Used parts for the MotoSat are still available
We have the MotoSat HD for Direct. It still works fine but I did have to buy a new RF Mogul controller when old MotoSat one burned out. If the antenna ever quits I can just replace it with the RF Mogul upper and be good to go again since the controller works with either.

I have a Nomad 2. RF Mogul sells a new control unit (RE-1 Eagle Antenna Controller) that will work with the satellite but they can't fix or update the software in the Nomad 2 because they don't have the source code. Someone spending upwards of $900 on a controller box would likely buy the dish that goes with it. I hymned and hawed about buying the new controller but went with a tripod setup instead. The whole unit is still in the motor home but it's all dead weight.

Thanks to all who contributed. I am going to offer the equipment for free local pickup in the classifieds.
