Mount for Jefatech wi-fi antenna/repeater
I just bought my JefaTech WI-Fi antenna and Repeater and it works great. However it is still not mounted correctly. I have it zip tied to my awning arm, LOL.
I looked at a post somewhere here a while back where the person used a boat antenna or flagpole mount with a PVC stub that the antenna clamped to. They had pictures and a parts list. The mount had a lock lever that let you swing it down for traveling. I can't seem to find that post again. I wanted to find out what the brand and model was. Can anybody point me in the right location to view this post again?
Thanks,

I have seen it attached to a crank up TV antenna with pipe clamps.

I like Barb have seen them attached to the TV antenna. I use two PVC pipes that slide
into each other with a hose clamp to secure them when extended antenna attached
to the top. Works great and easy for me to stow, what outside antenna did you get?
I have ran one of these units in a outside environment protected for the last 7 months that has subjected it to below zero temp's and no problems other than
a few resets so it is one great piece of gear.

I mounted mine permanently to my crank up TV antenna with pipe clamps. Ran the cable on top of my roof to my bathroom vent and entered there so I didn't have to drill through the roof.
I mounted the router on the bathroom wall.

Schneid hit the nail on the head.
The signal loss in the cable is a killer, even with the best cable long runs will do you
under. Even 10 feet of cable they supply has a high loss the reason I install low loss
400 or 600 cable and keep the runs as short as possible.

That looks like the antenna I had. As stated, I screw clamped it to the mast. I ran a WiFi analysis program and the Alfa got better results and saw more AP's even though inside and clipped to a cabinet. It was so much better, I removed the exterior one.

That's probably fine until you need to get through 5 RV's to get to the local wifi pop
