Follow this link for a website with info on HD antennas.
AntennaWeb - Home
This site is set up to select an antenna for a fixed location, like you home. However if you look under the Antenna Info tab it will give you info to decode the antenna labeling so you can make a selection based on your needs.
The HD antennas are directional so it is helpful to use a website like this one to figure out which way to point your antenna when you arrive at a new location.

Every antenna will receive digital signals, just that some are better than others. The need for special "digital antennas" is marketing hype to sell new antennas.

Mr. D is absolutely correct, nothing magical about so called HD or digital antennas. If your RV is a few years old try cleaning the connections on the roof or replacing the connectors if they are corroded, check for added splitters or anything that may degrade the signal. Tighten all the connections.
Just added a indoor attic mounted antenna to my home and before spending money on an antenna I made one out of a coat hanger and I am getting 85-95% signal on local channels.

I added the batwing to my Winegard crank up antenna on my Itasca and the Sensar Pro digital readout inside. The two additions made a huge difference in tuning in distant signals. The Sensar Pro has a readout that shows signal strength that allows you to fine tune the direction.

Just curious on where you mounted the readout plate so you could see it.

The SensarPro also has an optional audible signal, so you don't really need to see it. But I mounted mine in the front entertainment cabinet where I could see it from the antenna crank.

I had room in the upper front entertainment cabinet where the BOMB was located to mount the digital readout. As Jim said, it also has an audible signal strength meter. It's the size of a standard electrical outlet. It takes over power for the antenna amplifier built into the Winegard crank up antenna and replaces the 12v power supply in the BOMB.
