Need schooling?? RECEIVER

07 Beaver Marquis. Front tv receiver controls all functions of front, outside and signal to rear tv receiver. It is a sony but no model number on it. Parts guy says it is a DVPNS70H but ones I looked at on ebay don't look like it. With all the cords coming out of the back of it what receiver do I replace it with? It will not hold on any single output? Watching regular tv and it will switch to DVD etc. I just don't know enough about them to figure out what model I need to keep all the functions going. Any help appreciated everyone.

system

No, I have a bose lifestyle 38B entertainment system. All functions (radio satellite, tv cable and antenna, all go through it. It just won't hold onto one imput. Switchs to another imput without me touching remote.

Maybe a long shot, but I would try removing the batteries from the remote. Perhaps the issue is with the remote?

Check here. Remember, you're dealing with a decade old system.

Butch

Have you by any chance changed any lighting since this problem began? Some of the led lights are known to cause spurious emissions that can confuse electronics.

Just a thought.

entertainment system

No lighting changes or issues, it just won't hold on one input. Sound goes off and on also as it changes to a different input. I am wondering if I can switch rear receiver with front one and make front one work until I can leave coach at a shop later on??

Does it do this if you take the batteries out of all of the remotes? If it still does then try putting a piece of tape over the "receiver eye" on the front of the main unit. Let us know.
