To import into Firefox you can go to the Bookmarks menu. If you don't have your Menu toolbar visible, then right-click on an empty section of the top bar and click on "Menu Bar" to activate it.
Then, click on Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks - a new window should open up showing the Bookmarks library. At the top of the window click on "Import and Backup". At the bottom of the resulting menu you should see an entry called "Import Data from Another Browser" - this should allow you to access the Chrome bookmarks.

That sounds doable for me. When I import from Chrome to Firefox is that an actual transfer so the Bookmarks disappear from Chrome, or does it amount to a Copy and then i will have the Bookmarks on both browsers? Since I've lost it once this may be a little scary to hit the final button.
Appreciate the know-how.

It's a COPY function, it shouldn't erase or damage the bookmarks in the original browser when you import to Firefox.

I vaguely remember something about the ability to undo a system restore, but I don't even remember which Windows version I was using then.
Found a link which may help:
Undo System Restore

I forgot, the Note at page bottom says if you do a restore in safe-mode it cannot be undone.

Since I've found my Bookmarks on Chrome and can access them there, and don't have a restore back further than 10 days even though now I need at least 30 days, I'm very hesitant to try anything else at this time. Losing all my Bookmarks on Firefox has definitely put the fear in me about trying to do anything other than surf the Internet for the time being.
Appreciate all the help I received, but trying to lead a Dummy through a series of computer changes can be very trying for you guys.

Now would be a good time to create a backup of your bookmarks. Rather than attempt to explain how here, I recommend visiting the Mozilla website and read how, then you know the information you received is accurate. In short you convert them into a duplicate file stored on your computer in a different location than FF.
