New LCD TV External Speakers?

I am looking at a Samsung LN32B640 at Best Buy today for replacement of my front TV. Is there any way of hooking up external remote speakers without running through an external amplifer? I know that if I connect to the audio out plug I need to run that signal through my DVD player for amplifer boost, but I am trying to get away from that so I won't need two remotes.

Thanks, Sammie

I was looking for the same thing. I was told by several salesmen that no such thing exists. Good luck searching and I hope they were wrong.
