New to iRV2 - need help with TV

Hello to everyone, have enjoyed reading a lot of your forum posts and am looking forward to being a part of this community. I purchased a 2014 Thor Citation in Sept last year and have been zig zaging around Florida since December. I am a full timer and just love it! I am currently in South Carolina at the Edisto Island Live Oaks Campground for a family reunion and find the camp ground to be less than expected but it's okay. I do have a question for anyone that might be able to help. My main TV doesn't work on DVD. I do have a Quest three way splitter box which is suppose to let all TVs work according to which button is pushed. I can get the DVD to work on the bedroom and outside TVs but not on the main one. Any suggestions?
FYI I love the section on Campground reviews and the RV rallie info! Thank you in advance to anyone that can help with this TV issue!

Having stayed at Edisto in both campgrounds, just curious what you find "less than expected"?

I don't know anything about your coach, so I am just guessing here. I assume the Quest three way splitter is a coax switch?

If I was connecting a DVD player in the coach, I would connect the HDMI (or the component video) output from the DVD player directly to the front TV, and use the coax connections in the bedroom and outside TV's.

The HDMI connection is digital and will give you the best video picture and sound. Component video and stereo audio will be the second best. Coax (with the TV tuner set to channel 3/4) will be the worst in video quality. With larger HD capable TV's, you will see the difference. Hopefully the manufacturer did that for the front TV.

With your DVD playing, I would try switching your TV to the various A/V inputs, and see if that is the way Thor connected the DVD player.

Have fun with your new coach.

Well the roads are gravel and not in the best shape and not marked very well as far as one way etc. Also with the size of the two sites combined and to have only one dump station which is located off site makes waiting very time consuming. Plus the sites are not as big as I was informed that were, was hoping to have pop-up and tent but makes it very tight squeeze although was told by staff when resrving was no problem! But other than those its okay. At thw Live Oaks campground there are so many trees canoping the sites your in tje shade ALL the time. Happy trails to you!
