I am in the process of replacing existing wingard manual rooftop satellite dish with new model wingard Automatic Stationary satellite dish ...

I have taken the OLD dish off -- replaced it with the NEW

connected OLD tv cable to NEW cable

I am now ready to supply power to the NEW unit .. it needs 12 volts ..

My question - can I use the existing 12v light next to OLD crank in my mh? by connecting ON/OFF switch and then connecting that to the 12v light electrical wires??

2nd... DUMB question - My tv and assortaded equipment (dvd, etc.) will not work when connected to 30amp shore power ... Is this natural .. or is something amis??

Never use a lighting circuit to power a satellite antenna. Also, don't use a skinny piece of wire either. Look for a solid 12V power source, or even better, install a 120V to 12V converter to power the antenna. If you don't want to take that route then try to use a 12V cigarette lighter connection or the 12V power source for your Winegard TV antenna.
