I wish my first post to the forum wasn't a question for the group, but I need to tap into your vast knowledge base. We recently moved up to a pre-owned K-Z fiver to haul our toys, unfortunatley, the remote control for the installed RCA RTD124RV home theater system didn't make the transition. Didn't think it was a big deal, just buy a replacement, right? Or buy a universal remote and program in the codes, right? Wrong and wrong. No luck on either approach. RCA doesn't even list the model on their code finder website. Since it appears to be factory installed in the 2007 K-Z unit, does anyone have any ideas how to program an RCA universal remote for it?
TIA

It appears the remote for the RTD124 system is no longer manufactured. It might be possible to have one made. One place to try is NLARemotes.com. I know nothing about the site and have never used them but they are supposed to be able to make a remote that works right out of the box. Good luck.

Try Ebay I have gotten remotes there for a couple of tv's .try the tv model check the listing they might list model for remote and just look for a remote. Save the listing if you don't find one and have them email you when new stuff get listed. I have done this before and it works great for hard to find items. I did it for a snowthrower auger it took a year but got the part and it was CHEAP. Got it installed 3days before we had first blizzard last year
