Ninox database

Anyone use Ninox database on the iPhone? I've been using File Maker Pro (Ver 4.0) on the PC for a lot of years, and have become comfortable with it, but would like to create some of the tables on my phone using Ninox. My problem is understanding the code technology. If you are a programmer, I would like to get some questions answered using amateur language. Thanks!

I see 58 people have looked at this post with no responses. That must mean no one is using Ninox database, so my question changes.
Do you use a database on your iPhone to track travels?
I document all my travel activities on my laptop using an old version of File Maker Pro, but would like to have the data on my iPhone. Obviously it does not readily export to the iOS system.

Never heard of Ninox so I looked it up.
For travel financials, I use Quicken.
For most all else, I use Excel.
At some point will create a database system for the automation system.

RedT-

I thought I was behind the times using FileMaker 10! They are up to FM17 now.

Can you use the FileMaker Go app? Here is a link that implies it can use existing FileMaker data. Maybe not as old as FM4, though.

Tried FileMaker Go, and it will work if I upgrade to 16. Might have to do that.

Downloaded a free trial of V-15, but it would not import My old (*.FP3) files from version. 4, I guess one would have to export in *. CSV format, and then import to the new version. To do that would destroy all of the coding, hardly worth the effort of buying the newer versions, since Ver 4 does everything I want to do. Except work on my iPhone. Here's a screen shot.

There are numerous databases that will do what I want on the iPhone, but for me, programming on that tiny iPhone screen with keyboard taking up half of the screen, is a pain I'm not willing to endure!

I use Windows 10 for my GPS, engine monitor system (VMSpc) and tire pressure monitor, so am not ready to convert to Mac or iPad. Guess I'll just continue to travel with laptop, iPhone, Apple Watch. Enough gadgets!
