Verizon only throttles the top 5% data users. Im on 4G unlimited and have gone well over 10gb a month and have not been throttled. On some of the droid forums, some claim to go over 50gb every month without being throttled.

Never did mention that crowded towers basically throttle you as they have to allocate time slices to accommodate all the devices asking for data when they run out of open channels.

If I go with a new 4 Gig data plan using an Iphone 5, I'm assuming that the Iphone no longer needs to be Jailbroken in order to use it as a hotspot for my laptop computer. Please tell me if I'm wrong.
