I don't have a huge rig like a lot of you and I pretty much bare bones things. I also only tow when I'm taking the box out so i'm thinking about purchasing a small low cost pocket projector. how do you guys feel about these (the LED ones).

looking at this in particular - AAXA M1 Micro Projector - LCoS Hand-held Mini Projector - LED Pocket Projector

What we bought for the boys was a set of 7" screens one of them has a dvd player. They hang on the head rests of the truck. So the boys had entertainment while we traveled cross country. The maiden vorage was a daylight trip from Fresno to San Francisco. Worked great. Then we started out at 0300 hrs in the dark across the mojave desert. There is nothing like looking in your rear view mirrior and seeing Bart Simpson as a reflection off back window. LOL

oh, and actually, I'm looking for a set up I can play outside by the fire or similar. I'm not exactly looking to shut the kids up for car rides but to maybe watch a movie in the open air or similar. shutting the kids up in the car definitely opens a new can of worms for me..haha.

Kran,

Tell us a bit more about what you have for an rv & tow vehicle. With some more information, maybe our members can come up with something that'll do double duty for travel as well as sittin' outside.

If I remember right the 2 screen set was 99.00 at the Navy Exchange on Base. But I've seen the same set at Wally World.

wow. thats really not bad at all. I was expecting way more. I'll have to look in to them later on, but I'm looking for stationary gear right now.
