Palm Centro Conversion to Droid
I need some help from one of the experts.
I have a Palm Centro and Hotsync it to my computer with the Palm Desktop software. I use the Centro as a PDA as well as a phone. I'm considering going to a Droid smartphone either from Verizon or Sprint - my current supplier. My concern is my phone contact directory and my calendar. I know that Verizon or Sprint can copy my phone numbers from the Centro to the new phone, but I have them categorized in the Desktop software like appointments for my wife, different organizations, etc.
Does anyone know if I can copy my calendar and my contact list from the Palm Desktop software to a Droid smartphone or synchronize it to software that can be downloaded to the phone and keep the existing categories? When I try and export the calendar, the only file format that the software shows is a DBA database type of file. I don't know if a Droid phone or software that operates with a Droid phone will import a DBA type of file.
I'd appreciate some input from anyone.
Thanks
W8RLM - Bob
