The camera has done pretty well for us on this trip. We got a Mifi hot spot from US Cellular since that is our phone company. The first time out we were picking up a lot of feedback but we adjusted the mike and that was solved. The camera pans slowly but we are able to keep an eye on the babies.

I use a Canary (www.canary.is). It requires having a dedicated hotspot, but that is a must in my RV anyhow. It works perfectly for monitoring (and alarming) on temperature, humidity, air quality and motion.

But....get the original Canary, not the Flex as only the original model will monitor atmospherics.

We have two different approaches for pet monitoring. One via Cellphone, one via WiFi.

The WiFi approach just monitors the coach using a Samsung WiFi SmartCam.

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-SNH-E...words=smartcam

We can login on a smartphone app and spy on the dogs. You can turn on the volume to hear what's going on...even talk to them, if you wanted to scare them.

The other device is method of using a trio of...
A Bluetooth enabled phone
A Bluetooth bridge device
A Intermediate Freeze Alarm.

This system allows us to call in to get temp/power reports anytime...and if a failure causes the temperature to rise beyone our setpoint or the Power Connection Fails...the device will call us repeatedly until we acknowledge the call by entering our PIN number. It also tells you the temperature or state of power when it calls.

Our Generator can also be set to autostart anytime the airconditioning is needed and the power at the campground has gone out. Nice back-up to have.

If you live in a mild climate...some of the Fantastic Fans models have temperature control...so it will start the fan if the inside temperature of the coach gets too warm...but the outside air needs to be cool enough, and a window cracked to allow for airflow.

If you want to monitor your pet, then get a pet cam. Different models of pet cameras are available in the market. Here are some pet cameras for your funny pets.

Petzi Treat Cam
-Wifi connected pet camera
-You talk with them through the camera
-The audio works only in one way

Pawbo Pet camera

-Device with 110-degree ultra wide lens
-720 HD video recording and photography
-It doesn’t have night vision capabilities

PetChatz HD
-Live communications, person to pet communications
-2-way video calling
-Sound and motion detection

Else if you want to secure your RV from the burglary or intrusion then install a good intrusion detection systems or alarms.
When you leave your dog alone in the RV, make the climate perfect for them. Heat or cool the RV as they needed. Install two fans in the RV, one to exhaust and another to inflow. Normally dogs dislike to live in RV, so it takes some time for them to cope up with the living situation.
