Pre Paid Verizon Jetpack "Out Of Data"

When I tried to connect to my Pre Paid Unlimited 8800 Jetpack all I could get was the Verizon welcome page. Check the Jetpack and it said that I was "Out of Data". Reset the Jetpack and still said "Out Of Data" no internet connection. Head down to the Verizon Store and they check the account and was paid yesterday by credit card. While standing at the Customer Service counter I get a message on the Jetpack that our credit card was charged and a few seconds later that our Jetpack is active again. Seems that customer services said that the credit card is run and when the charge is approved then put into a queue to re-authorized the Jetpack and sometimes the jetpack my be de-authorized for few hours. Just giving a heads up.

With all the testing I did we used over 300 GB last month.

I also had the same problem. Had to reboot the Jetpack a couple of times to restore service. Everything was fine by the next day and by that time my bank had sent me an email that "a purchase was made on your account." Next month I'll just switch to my phone's hotspot for the day.

They said it was a new program and they are aware of the problem and working on a fix. Mine de-activated at midnight and didn't re-activate till noon the next day.

A couple of days before my plan expire, the hot spot became unusable (slooow) I renewed and it's working great again, however my new Mobley is working so well, I'm gonna let it expire until I need it.

You can pay it a few days early in your account, with cc or refill card even if you are on autopay

Mine renewed a couple of days ago and the auto-renewal worked without a glitch. I did have to reboot as the system moved from the "old month" to the new one, and a couple of reboots were needed the day before the contract period ended. I can't prove that any that was due to the renewal or whether it was simply an undetermined Verizon issue.

same here. the first autopay went through using the refill cards that i used to have a credit balance, and shorly after got the “no data remaining” notice on the 7730L. it wasn’t useable for 12 hours, then just began to work. from what i was advised on the fb group, it will likely be a one time thing after the first payment.

Since the first time in January, it has worked fine with no outage so I think you are right.

How much did that cost?
