Question regarding Jack antenna

My question is, do I need the power supply and injector if I already have a A/V selector and are they a power injector?

I'm kinda confused as to whether I need the external power supply of is the selector box in the coach all I need.

I can't test it because I'm in storage, but was able to get to it today to install

Just a point of information, RV Partds Express on ebay is selling them for 21.38 free shipping.

I had the same question when I replaced ours.

We just used the existing power supply, amp, etc. So far, it works, but I've noticed it has a much smaller "window" when it comes to aiming it as compared to the old bat-wing.

The smaller "Window" means higher gain.

And yes, it will use your existing power supply system, Just replace the head.

My Jack uses the existing power supply and crank up mount, works good. I had a problem with the Jack head flopping a little and making a banging noise when traveling so I glued a couple of styrofoam faucet covers to the under side of the Jack, no more noise.
