Radio problems

We recently installed a new television in our National Tradewinds motorhome. We disconnected the old tv from the radio speaker system and are only using the tv speakers. The light is on the radio as if it is on but it is not working. Has anyone experienced this problem? We are wondering if it has something to do with the cord that we unplugged from the old unit that sent the sound through the radio speakers.

Not sure the reason your speaker system isn’t work as I have a 2004 National Sea Breeze with the overhead speaker they didn’t work with old tube 800 Lb tv. after installing the New LED flat screen I used RCA cables from the TV Output to the Radio RCA input works good but only on two of the four speakers. Hope that helps

We are still struggling with this radio. Would you know where the fuse is located for this dash radio? We are wondering if maybe the fuse blew. Thanks. Keith

If it’s on a workhorse chassis then see if you have a panel on top of your dash in front of the instrument panel. Your Radio may have a battery build in get could be time for a new radio. My radio has a switch on the dash just above radio it will light up once it’s on?

Post a picture of your dash area with the radio and any rocker switch on the dash.

I have a stereo that would light up but not do anything, found out it was a fuse in the radio itself, popped a new fuse in and it runs like new
