I've had a RVND7710 for a couple of years now. I would love to see an upgrade path to the newer units at a reduced price. Would like to have the new features but can't justify the cost.
I did see (after the offer had ended) that there was an upgrade offer when the 7720 came out. Haven't seen anything with the 7730. I would have thought that an email notification would have gone out to registered users but I didn't get one.

Hey Chuck. Perhaps a call to RM asking them the question about upgrade may be in order. Without asking the answer will always be "no".

I have talked to the techs a couple times about updating issues and they have always been helpful and friendly.

I suddenly can't get my Rand McNally updater to work. Keeps giving me a "Had to shut down, send information" type message. Anyone else having problems??

You might try connecting to the Dock, go to Settings & Maintenance and run Diagnostics & Repair.
