I want to get TV reception while going down the road what antenna will work? I am an over the road team driver and I want to be able to get local TV in the big cities while in the sleeper. I have a king dome tracking sattelite system but I cant get locals without having a seperate account with Direct TV. (One for home and one for the truck) Plus if I do that I cant get NFL Season Pass. So If I leave it the way it is and get a different antenna I should be able to get locals.
I know BooWhoo but I am on the road 340 days a year and I want to get locals wherever I'm at.
I found the Winguard and the Jack antenna are there others?

I don;t know of anyone that makes such an antenna for mobile Off-air signals.

The Jack with the little shorty mount will work but of course if you are doing this while driving you will always be in and out of service areas and it would be completely useless. If you just need the local signal when you park then the Winegard (a bit longer range) or the Jack will provide you will the local Network programming IF (big if) there is local programming available. There is nothing that will automatically get you local Networks where ever you go. Satellite TV will get you everything else without issue. The only way to get Network programming (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox) anywhere and everywhere is to sign up for the Distant Network Services. It won't be "local" but it will be the Networks. You can then use the Batwing as a backup if you need a local weather forecast.

You have 120v? Just about any portable, amplified antenna will do.. HDTV signals are NOT special... find one you can live with suspended from your sleeper roof.

Better yet, permanently mount a 'flat' antenna:
