Anyone know of a replacement for my "dated" Magellan 750 NAV GPS unit in my '05 Suncruiser? Magellan says it no longer supports the upgrades for them and I wanted to continue to use it through my Sony in-dash/back-up monitor. The only units they offer now it seems are the car types you screw/clamp onto the dash with it's own small screen.
I'm wondering if I could purchase thru Winnebago and just install what they are using currently. Anyone having the same problem? Idea's?

Thanks!

The trucker 465T Garmin will hit the market on May 29. Based on all of the material I have read, it allows you to input your length, height and weight. It also allows you to program in up to 50 points on a route. My wife and I have a Vectra with a 13'+ clearence. We love to run on principal highways (red roads) cross country and avoid the interstates. We love the countryside, the people and real America. We look forward to having such a GPS made for a programable vehicle criteria. Obviously you never use a GPS without using common sense and doing your route homework, but I think the 465T will be one more tool to help you do it right and avoid problems. The retail is $499 and there is a big backorder.

I replaced my Magellan 750 NAV with a Garmin GVN 53, which is similar but fully supported. The GVN 53 installs in a cabinet and has its own speaker but sends video to any composite video monitor, e.g. the Sony (same as I have). Works like a charm and a far superior unit to the crappy Magellan.

I found mine on ebay for only $300.

Thanks to the both of you-that is what I hoped to find! If I can buy some other brand than Magellan I'll do it because they "pulled the plug" and will offer nothing to replace it. Not like it was cheap...
Thanks again!
