Does an RV-friendly navigation system (i.e. one that takes into account bridge heights and parking lot sizes) exist? Not that I can't figure it out on my own as the TomTom directs me, but it seems like a niche that would be easy enough for one of the big companies to cater to.

My Garmin has an option for truck routes. You will have to check your menu if you have that or not. HOWEVER, the truck route only take into account roads designated as truck routes. When sight seeing you could possibly run into bridges not listed so you still need to be ware.

You might want to take a look at CoPilot from ALK I know in the version for laptop computers they have routing for RVs I think it is mainly bridge heights but may include road restritions.

CoPilot has settings for heights, propane, tunnels etc. I run it on my laptop. The newest version stinks as far as I am concerned. I went back to my old version after upgrading last year to Laptop 11. It was way too complicated for me to favor or avoid roads

Completely agree with you regarding Version 11. However, version 10 has some compatibility with Windows Vista, so until CoPilot releases a new version I am using my Garmin and MS Street and Trips with GPS.
