RV Inside Temperature Monitoring

With summer winding down in parts of the country (although it is 91 in Chicagoland today), I am looking for recommendations on an inside RV living space temperature monitoring system to alert us of temperature changes if we are away for a few hours and don't have the dogs with us. My limited research shows that many systems require internet or phone service.
Links for research would be appreciated.

For our dogs, we figured the nightmare scenario would be to lose power to our ACs during summer heat.

Instead of just getting a temperature monitor, we installed a Magnum AGS (Auto Generator Start) system in our RV.

Basically, the AGS will power up our generator if either battery voltage drops too low or if the inside temperature gets too high.

Both the battery and temperature levels are adjustable.

Look up Temp stick by idealsciences.com. We use one with our Verizon hot spot and we can monitor temps on our cell phones and get an alert if temp goes above a preset limit. Works great.
