Don't know anything about this place but their email said they have a sale on Monday and the RVND 7710 will be marked down 20% from #399.00 to $319.00.

Anyone ever dealt with these guys?

They also have the Magnadyne M1-LCD I would like to replace my M1-CD. If it goes on sale I may try them.

They've got some good buzz over on Yahoo Monacoers. Apparently at least one of the more senior people worked at Monaco before the bankruptcy and she has a good reputation.

I ordered mine last Wednesday for $319.99, delivered to my door. They were out of them in the Oregon warehouse so mine is coming from Indiana. Due to their facilities locations you may or may not have to pay sales tax. I think Indiana and California residents do and there may be others.

Ordered mine as well as the Magnadyne M1-LCD.

I asked about pricing on the M1-LCD as I found it for $529.00 on another site, she lowered the their price from $750 to $650.00 so with the 20% sale I got it for $520.00. Got to love a retailer that price matches like that.

Wish mine was shipping for Indiana. I could stop and pick it up on my way to Texas. I'll just have to wait to play with it when I get back.

I'm upgrading from the 5510, wanted the bigger screen.

About the free map updates, here is what the sales rep had to say
"Also, with respect to the conversation about Camping World selling free lifetime updates? Well, I talked to Rand McNally about that. They told me that they have not yet determined if they will be charging for the updates for the RVND7710 in the future. Ultimately, I do not believe that they will, but meanwhile, nobody should be paying more to get what they perceive to be free updates, because they may get free updates anyway!"

Amazon has the 7710 on sale today for $339.00 w/FREE updates. Free freight also if you go their standard shipping. optional shipping extra if you want it sooner. I chosse an optional shipping medthod and was charged $36.00 and it still took a week via UPS select (whatever that is it wasn't worth the additional fee. good luck ed

Placed my order yesterday and received 2 of the 4 items today. Now thats quick shipping.

I must be farther out in the sticks than you it took 2 days for mine to get here which is about normal shipping time frame for where it cam from.

Thanks for the heads up on this offer. I ordered mine Monday and it arrived today. After spending time with it I feel it is far better than the Garmin 465t it replaces, at least for features and ease of use. I will give it a road trial Monday when I do a round trip to Miami.

I wanted to let you know that I met with the Rand McNally management at Louisville this week to get a more in depth update on the free lifetime maps for the RVND7710. Apparently, Camping World made a deal to allow them to market free lifetime maps, through the month of December. Ultimately, it doesn't change the fact that Rand hasn't yet made the decision to even charge for lifetime maps on the 7710, but it has created enough of a competitive marketing issue for me that they agreed we could do the same. Not only will we be able to guarantee free lifetime maps for purchases in the month of December, it will be retro-active for any customer who purchased a 7710 from us prior to now.

I wanted to update you for your own personal purchase, and I know you have communicated with others on the forum with respect to the lifetime map issue. We intend to keep the 20% cyberweek coupon active through Sunday. Monday we will move to a 15% off holiday sale, which still beats Camping World by quite a bit.
