Calling on experienced Winnie owners who have wired for satellite dishes.

DH plans on bringing in cables by drilling a hole under the lip to the driver door. He plans on putting the receiver on the dash instead of cabinet above driver. What has anyone else done? Is there a better way? He's not thrilled about drilling holes in the coach, can ya tell?!

We think we have everything necessary now for 'road travel' except the signal finder. Is there any one that's better than another -- other than the expensive digitals?!

The best way would be to use the cable tv connection from the electrical compartment by installing two diplexers, one at the coax connection in the electrical compartment and one in the entertainment center cabinet over the dash where it goes into the tv selector switch.

There will be two cables from satellite LNBF coming in for a 2-receiver DVR. (Should have mentioned this before.)

The cabinet area above the driver is about 15" deep...the DVR is 13" deep...which is not leaving enough room for coax cable hookups. Is there such a thing as a right-angle connector? We're thinking about taking the top (metal) shelf totally out -- but there still may not be enough room for 2 in, 2 out. Oy!
