Hi all, thanks so far for all the great advice and posts. Took a walk on the roof of the coach today looking for a sticker or some form of idiction of where the pre-wire might be hidden. I found a box on the roof about 6 x 6 x 6 glued and screwed to the roof. On the box lid was moulded the word Catech. Could the coax and 12v be hidden in there?

That's a great question and the answer is no. I did scan the owners manual and the box of other manuals that came with the coach but it didn't mention the box on the roof. I think it fair to assume that sat wiring is in there. I would presume that one would remove that box and install the king dome over the opening left by removing the box. Until I decide on which unit to mount on the roof, I bought a portable dish and will use the house wiring for cable, run a multiswitch and have a reciever in the rear and one up front. I took two recievers from our house before we left since we are paying for them and will not be home for 3 or 4 months min.

The cables are in the box. I have an '05 National RV too. The other ends should be found in the equiptment cabinet to the right of the TV. They are cross connected behind the TV. Access is from the bottom. Make sure you do a continuity check on the cables, there are two RF cables. Either could appear in the equipment cabinet. I drilled a hole in roof box to extend the cable to the antenna. Leave slack for rotation. Verify voltage getting to antenna.
Good luck.

Thanks. For the short term I'm going to use a portable dish but I figured that must be what's under the lid of the box. I'm not sure what route I'll take on the permanent side of sat entertainment right now. Part of me wants in motion part of me doesn't. Camping world has a non motion King Dome for 699.00 plus 280.00 for install. I can do the install so I can save a little there. I put together a dish and tripod for under 50.00 bucks that will work fine for now. We aren't going anywhere for at least 4 months. I'm helping out the Pres of my old company and we are staying at a nice RV park in San Juan Bautista Ca. Thanks for the reply.
