We have a 2003 Forest River mh with tracvision s-2 dome. We are trying to connect to our direct tv box model # h24-700 ( just installed in our home a few months ago on 8/15/2011). Are these two systems able to work together or do i need certain things like a swm in line, or a certain dish type slection under dish configuration?

You may already know this but you cannot receive any HD programming from DirecTV with a dome. At a minimum you will need to go into the receivers setup menu and go through "repeat satellite setup" and select 18" round or oval 3-LNB and use Multiswitch (never SWM). Continue to the signal strength screen and (assuming the rest is connected correctly) start a new search. You should get a good signal on the 101 satellite and transponder 1 if the antenna works properly.
