Can a satellite dish be repainted?? What type of paint can be used without degrading the signal?

Folks paint them all the time, usually a mural, flowers, or a picture or something to spruce it up.

Don't use a metallic paint, it'll screw up the signal.

We put an iRV2 decal on the one that we take camping. No signal problems. It is a tripod mount.

The metalic paint no, no you probably heard about is using it on the outside of a sat dome. The dome can not have any metalic qualities as it will reflect some of the signal. Having it directly on the dish will have no affect as the parraballic antenna is metalic anyway.
