Satellite dish advice needed

Ok here goes... I'm wanting to have Directv in my coach. Presently I have a roof mounted MotoSat Executive dish and a Nomad 2 box in the RV.
Directv said I can take one of my receivers from home and put in the coach but how does that all work with what I already have ? Hook up what to what?

Hi,

First off what kind of rv do you have and what make?

Second what kind of switcher do you have to switch tvs from ant to cable or Sat?

Normally Direct tv dish would be connected to receiver and then receiver would be connected to switcher which would be connected to all tvs.

Do you want SD or HD?
MotoSat is out business and RF Mogul has taken over the business, or what they could as MotoSat never released the source code of their programming. Your old controller might or might not work now as some of the responders have been changed or stopped altogether. Due to the lack of source code very little can be done to upgrade the old controllers

We have a MotoSat HD dish for Direct. Had the old controller and it burned up so we got an RE-1 Eagle controller ($850) and take two of our SD receivers with us. Works great and can have different channels on two out of the three TV's as the two in front are on the same output from the switch. Very quick lockon as the controller has it's own GPS antenna.
