Glad you got your Traveler working. We are on our second Traveler. The first one held up well for about 5 years (traded that coach). We installed a new SWM Traveler on our current coach in 2013. Last year one of the factory installed connections corroded so badly the center coax conductor fell off. After a struggle with Winegard tech service, got parts to fix that.
On this trip, the turret mechanism has developed so much slop that any wind causes loss of signal. The turret wobbles like a bobble head dog.
Only fix is to take it off the coach and ship it back to Winegard for rebuild. They estimate 6 weeks or more. Unit out of warranty so all my expense. We decided to replace it with the new RF Mogul Eagle. Having it installed as we speak in Eugene, OR. Looking at the RF mogul unit and talking with the installer, the RF Mogul seems more sturdy and better engineered. We will see.
