Hello Everyone,
Been a lerker for awhile, so I thought I would join in and gain some knowledge.
I currently own a 2005 Newmar Scottsdale 3671 with a Winnguard crank up satellite antenna.
I have a front TV and a rear TV. The rear TV is connected to a multiswitch box in the front and we can only watch the channels that are on the front TV. To change the channel in the rear we have to change the channel on the front TV to watch what comes in to that TV.
What I would like to do is be able to change the channel in the bedroom,if this is possible.
Any suggestions as to what I need would be greatly appreciated.

With satellite, to watch different channels on 2 TVs, you will need a satellite receiver for each TV.
With one receiver, your only option is to watch a different program on the second TV is to use the over-the-air antenna for one of the TVs. Your multiswitch should allow you to select "Antenna" for one TV and "Satellite" (or "Aux") for the other.
If your multiswitch does not have the ability to choose the input for the second TV, you might be able to rig up your own method of switching inputs with a couple of A-B switches.

You are also going to need another coax feed from the dish and a dual LNB on it to use more than one receiver. Then either feed each receiver with a coax or get a multiswitch.
I am assuming the crank up dish is an 18" round like the Winegard we had on our last RV. If it is one of the big oval dishes you may be set to go with two.

In each of my last two motor homes I had installed the winegard crank up roof type 18 inch dishes. Both came with dual LNBs! All I needed to do was bring along the receivers from home for each of the tvs. The coaches also were already pre wired for two sat cable runs to each of the tvs. One was fro cable/local ant. the other was for a second sat receiver.
Your coach may also be pre wired. Many coach builders would have pre wired this kind of thing for dealer installed options.. Check out the LNB on your crank up ant. it probably has a dual type and just needs the down feed wire. Look for extra cable wire connections in and around the entertainment center.

If you are willing to pay the cost (Assuming there is a cost) and if you have DISH NETWORK as opposed to DirecTV.
DISH network DVR's will let you watch two shows at once, at least the ones I used did. (Make sure before you buy) The 625 (I think it was) output the "Main" on channel 3 and a secondary on a user selectable UHF channel.
Alas, the wires in my Damon Intruder was not good enough to haul UHF that far without loss but .. That's RG-59 for you.

I have a 2001 Newmar which came with a dome sat antenna on the roof. It apparently had two coax feeds, one going to the font electronics cabinet and the other going to the TV cabinet in the bedroom. You should check in the bedroom TV cabinet to see if you have a wall plate with two female coax outlets. If you do, it is likely that one is from the TV distribution amp by the front TV and the other is a separate feed from the satellite. I am assuming that the sat dish was installed my Newmar.

I have a Dish VIP722 DVR. Unfortunately I have a Dome satellite antenna, and no dome antenna on the market at present time will receive two different satellites at one time. However, with the crank up you have, I think it is possible, so depending on what service you have, DISH for example, you could receive 110 and 119 satellites. If so, and you have the right receiver, (DISH VIP722) you would plug both LNB's into the back of the VIP-722. That receiver has a "distribution out" jack that would feed the back BR TV. With an RF remote you could change the channels for the second tuner in "dual" mode from the bedroom. You could watch, depending on the LNB output, two different channels at the same time.
I put in a couple splitters at the back of the convenience center to take care of the wiring situation. That is something you would have to play with.
So it is possible, but there are so many variations that it is almost impossible to give you a specific suggestions as to what may work. But yes, it is doable.
