Satellite TV ?

I have a tracvision r1 antenna, dish vip211k, and a KVH multi service interface box in my front overhead cabinet.

Is this an auto tracking system?
Can I get HD channels on this system?
Is this a decent set up? Not sure if it is wired to front and back tv at this point.
There is also some sort of switch for what I think is an antenna booster for OTA signals.

Thanks

It will automatically find your satellite however it's not HD. As far as non HD satellite dishes go, it's top quality

It is HD for DISH.

It was hot stuff in 2013, but looks unimaginably complicated to set up. Here's the manual.

Thanks. Not sure I will even use it any time soon. Depends on how expensive dish network is I guess. Was hoping it was a newer system and not so out of date

DISH has Pay As You Go service which you can sign up for month to month.

Also, you would also need a DISH receiver for your Tracvision. I recommend the older 211k HD receiver. It can be turned into a DVR by adding a USB drive, but it's only a single tuner receiver so recording options are limited. However, a 211k can be connected directly to your batwing antenna so that you can view and record OTA TV programs.
