I am attempting to locate a system/s which will allow receiving TV signals and also Internet signals while moving down the road....
Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks....

Boss Hogg, WELCOME to iRV2.com!!

You basically have two alternatives for "mobile internet"....You can use cellular with either a cable affixed to your phone,or an aircard that slides into your lap top. This will give you the "cheapest in motion" alternative.

As far as satelite internet, for in motion it's a rather expensive proposition, with the necessity to purchase a dome and pay for usage.

With your stationary needs for internet, I would recommend you look at Motosat's web page. For "most" users the F1 setup is what they use, however if there's a "need for speed" you will need to move up to an F2.
These systems are rooftop mounted and fully automatic and do not need a laptop to operate the dish,as everything is done with the dish controller. Most installers are including a wireless router with their install, allowing you the wireless freedom to move about your site, even sit under the awning and surf the net.
F1 system pricing is in the 5K range and the F2 system is around 8K...
For even more information on the use of satelite technology in an mobile environment I recommend you look through the many pages of the
Datastorm Users Forum.
You will find a lot of answers to most any question you have in regard to satelite.

Go to datastormusers.com. They can answer all your questions. Some of the guys on there write the software and do the beta tests for the satellite mfgs.

Thanks Bob,
I currently have the mobile office setup that works well with the verizon wireless cellphone. It is just a little slow. If the pricing starts at $5,000.00 for the faster speeds, I will have to stay with the turtle.......for now....

Do you have any recommendations for the TV on the go??????????///

Trac King Controller

With this dome....In motion dome

If you ever get a dome,be sure and have it sprayed for rain fade....That's one of biggest complaints. You should also know that while it's a very very good television platform, you will still from time to time lose signal momentarily...
