Selector for coachtop / tripod satellite dish?

I have a Travel'r on the roof, but frequently use a tripod due to trees. I am currently switching between the two by unscrewing the coax at the SWM power inserter and screwing the other one in. Seems kind of primitive in this day and age. I'm sure the old-style A/B switch wouldn't work. Does anyone know of a more elegant solution than cable swapping?

A good quality A/B should work just fine. Get a better model than the cheapest slide model; it's still pretty cheap.

Forgot to mention power inserter

TLGPE - I forgot that the DirecTV SWM feature requires a Power Inserter. Investigating the STEREN 2-Way Coaxial A/B Switch 200-315, it appears that it doesn't pass DC power. I'm thinking that I could get a second Power Inserter and mount it in the bay where the tripod connects, then switch the post-Power Inserter signals to the DirecTV receiver input. Make sense?

Seems to work fine

Bought the switch, inserted it on the IRD side of the power inserter, and checked signal levels using my HR-54 at home. No measurable difference in signal strength with the switch in the circuit, so I'll install another PI in the power bay and the AB switch in the AV cabinet when I do my pending rebuild of the cabinet.

Thanks for the advice.
