our account IS marked as an "outdoor account"even though we have a "residential-style" receiver in the MH (ViP 722k). up until a day or two ago i did not have the option to change my service address using the app. tried it for the first time today and, wow, it is most excellent! very ez to use and fast. calling the techs to make the change was ez but this is much, much better.

I just checked the app and I now have the the manage local channels option. They must have fixed the problem at their end. Now all I need is a dish that can see through trees and hills.

when you do call be sure to ask if your account is flagged as an ‘outdoor account’.

In the MyDish app, for me, the MyDish app specifically states that if you have a residetial account and an outdoor account, which my Wally is, you will need to call in. That is why it doesn't show on my "MyDish.app."
I read the small print the other day and I posted the entire quote to the thread - now I can't find the thread.
I found my post. This is what the MyDish App states when I go to the outdoor section.
Services
Dish Outdoors, Wake Up Your Receiver
Dish Outdoors support
Manage Locals
When I finally go to it here is what it states:
"NOTE: this feature is NOT AVAILABLE FOR ACCOUNTS WITH DISH OUTDOORS AND DISH HOME EQUIPMENT. If you have a residential account with both services, we are unable to offer this service at this time. To manage locals from you DISH Outdoors/Home account, contact us"
Next time we travel I'll see if it is there when I wake up the Wally.

Dish CS reps are totally clueless about this feature or lack of. But that is normal.

pretty broad generalization. some are but most that I've dealt with prior to the feature appearing on my app have been excellent.

Pole saw on hills is a bit of a workout. Just sayin...
My account, I guess, is a residential account as I set it up when had a S&B. Now am full time in the RV and do not have the option in the app.
Has anyone been successful calling/chatting and getting their account changed? If so, any tips on the "magic" words to use?
