For what it is worth, if you google "potable satellite antenna for shaw" you will be directed to several web sites which feature the Winegard Carry-Out GM-0700 which is designed for Shaw (Starchoice).

We used to use Star Choice AKA Shaw Direct, but got tired of setting up the manual dish. By the way there are three co-ordiantes, direction, angle and skew. Sold my portable dish and both of the control boxes.
With the bell Dish ( and I really hate Bell) there are only direction and angle. The skew part drove me crazy when we used it. LOL

I guess you dont have HD?
If you did you would have to input skew into it for the 2 LNB's (Bell)
Its really no problem to do as after you set it it for your location it doesn't change providing you have mast plumb!
To get settings use Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps | DishPointer.com -It has all the different setups for dish configurations!

Why does it say "For use in Canada only"? One of the great features of Shaw/Starchoice is that they support you anywhere you go. Even to US and Mexico. Bell on the other hand will disconnect you if they find you are south of the border plus their signal is difficult to pick up the farther south you go.

I believe that is a new dish for SarChoice but the skew has to be set by hand for each location you are at.

I've never really had any problem setting the skew. I see to have more difficulty with elevation even though I make sure the mast is plum. One thing that helped me this year is that I picked up the larger dish to take south with us. It is better marked and the elevation has a better adjustment on it.

Motosat versus Wineguard, open face pop ups. MotoSat is the longest running RV satellite only business. Pointing the satellites is there only business. They are rebuildable in the field if you should have a problem, have a 3 year parts warranty, and one year labor. They do not get affected by wind nearly as much as the Winegard system. If a Winegard breaks or malfunctions, you must return it to the factory for any repairs, no dealer can repair them in the field. The mounting on roofs is much more stable for Motosat systems, and the weight is less. Motosat is usually a little more cost, but you get what you pay for.

According to the Winegard Brochure the following unit is compatible with Shaw Direct HD
Winegard Traveller Sk7002 plus SKA-722 Refl & LNB
The miniMAx RT800t and the RT8002 are not compatible
The Carry Out is no compatible.
The Winegard Roadtrip is not compatible.
My portable dish I have from Bell does have a skew setting so could use it with HD, but TV's are not HD compatible as of now.
