Side / Turn Camera Installation

I'm getting ready to install side cameras and I'm wondering how high off the ground to mount them. So far I haven't found any such recommended dimension online, and I never really paid attention to how high they were off the ground when I've looked at coaches with cameras already installed.

Anyone have any measurements to share?

Not sure it matters, they are pretty wide angle! I've seen cameras on the bottom of mirrors and on the side of front caps a few feet up. Pretty sure its more about the alignment than position height.

On my '06 Itasca, they were about 5' above the ground on the side wall. On the Tiffin, they are built into the bottom of the mirrors about 6' above ground.

The side cameras on the motorhome parked next to us are about shoulder high. This seems typical for others I have seen.
