Silverleaf VMspc problems

I am having a problem with my Silverleaf VMspc giving me the proper information on the fuel monitoring and trip data. I have a 2010 Dutchstar with a Cummins ISL 400. I have been in contact with Silverleaf and they can't seem to find the problem. They are at the point of telling me they will refund my money.

What I'm looking for is anyone who has had trouble and found a fix for these issues. I have tried all the available versions of the software available and get varying problems with both gauges. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using the 2.5 version of VMSpc, with a '04 version of the ISL400 engine. I have had problems with later versions of the software, so I just stick with the old version. It works. Periodically the trip gauges will drop the fuel readings for a few seconds, but they come back quickly. The glitch does not affect the rolling MPG or the current MPG, just the trip meters (I use three) and the tank minder. But it is a minor inconvenience, not a deal buster by any means.

It has been a while, so I have forgotten the reasons I gave up on the 3.0 and 4.0 versions, and went to the old 2.5 version.

I'm running vs 2.5 now as it is the most stable. I still have issues on the trip and tank minder. Silverleaf electronics is sending me a new unit to rule out hardware issues. Hopefully this will fix my problem
