Wouldn't you know....no nothing labeled. Think I narrowed it down based on cord size and matching. Think the rain has stopped and DH and I will give it a try today to replace antenna. Well check first before permanently running new one.

Well doesn't that beat all! I guess since we have talked to service 2ce, well check the antenna.

New antenna and refresh didn't do the job. 😔 Guess we better make the service call.

I'll try to troubleshoot a little more--only because I'm stubborn. :-)

I would just take it to Best Buy. I've had installs done at several and all work was beyond what I expected.

Just as a follow up... I guess the Best Buys around me aren't interested in helping. Visited a couple and none were too helpful. So next step is Kenwood. Our main system centers around them.

Sirius XM Radio Service

Had no reception on new MH. Checked at Alliance in FL. Wire from Antennea was smashed and twisted, shortening out line. Ended up replacing antennea and line to box before radio. If I was alone, would have tried splicing line as replacing antennea was not that easy or quick.

NoFear,
You may find that it is cheaper to replace than to repair. At today's rates of $100 an hour, it could easily add up. Look at a replacement option, just a suggestion.

Another suggestion; I really like my portable with the vehicle kit. I purchased two kits so one is in the MH, and the other in the TOAD. I just pull the "head" and use it in either vehicle I'm in. For the little "disc" antenna, the MH just has it thrown up on the dash. That way, no holes, no wires to snake, and when I'm traveling in a direction that does not have good signal, DW just moves the antenna to the Southern side of the vehicle.

Just some options.

Happy trails.

Outcome....XM box to our home and corresponding Kenwood adapter no longer made. But exhausted all other possibilities. Found both on eBay for $25.00. Received, installed, works once again! Wish it could have been simple like the antenna. :-/
