SmartRVRoute App

Not keen on having a library of books or limited use GPS. Having said that , I'm been looking at what apps to use for a smart phone. Came across this one
"SmartRVRoute"

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...J2cm91dGUiXQ..

$80 lifetime fee or $20 a month. Any user and what do you think of this app? Thanks in advance

The first review that pops up with the link you sent pretty much says it all. Save your money.

On that same page there is an ad for the AllStays app. That one is is worth the $9.99 and is probably the best campground, fuel stop, Walmart finder app available to you.

If you want/need a GPS, look at the Rand McNally 7720 or the Garmin Dezl 760 - both do RV specific routing. Lots of threads on both.

We just pull the goggle maps up that is automatically on the droid phone we have. Then I just type in the looking for bar "rv park resort campground" or some variation. It pulls up all kinds of rv places around where we are at including the mom and pop ones that are not listed in any app or book. We have found most of the little mom and pop ones have better service and prices anyway.
The map app is free too. I can see all the parks on the map and then click to navigate to any of them if I want to. Or put the address in the GPS that we have.
